Instructions for Submission
Please include a covering letter .Completed abstracts should be submitted online along with the covering letter
Last date for the receipt of abstracts is 15 Jan, 2018 .
All contributors will receive a notification of acceptance/rejection.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
The following information is required during the submission process.
Abstract title – The title should be brief but long enough to identify the nature of the study.
Author information – Please note, the presenting author is the contact author. Please include details of designation and the institution. List all the authors and also state their affiliations.
The body of the abstract – It should be organized as follows:
An introduction stating the study’s purpose.
A brief description of the methods.
A statement of conclusion reached. Do not simply state that the results will be discussed. The abstracts without final results will not be accepted.
The word limit for the body of the abstract is 300 words.
Abbreviations – Avoid abbreviations in the abstract title. Use abbreviations in parenthesis, after a full word, the first time it appears.
Tables and graphs – Use no more than 2 tables and 2 graphs, if required.
Abstract Policies and Procedures
Informed Consent: Any studies involving human subjects must conform to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association and must meet all the requirements of informed consent of the country in which the study was performed.
Use of Animals: All studies involving the use of animals must conform to 1991 Revision of Guiding Principles of the Care and Use of Animals. Conflict of Interest: If the research was partially or fully funded by a proprietary organization, you must describe the nature of the relationship. Presenters must avoid the endorsement of commercial products in their abstract and during the presentation. Abstracts will not be accepted without the statement of disclosure regarding financial grants and conflict of interest.
